Readings Luke 7:36-50

"YOUR FAITH HAS SAVED YOU, GO IN PEACE" Luke 7:50

In these verses we read about the woman who was not of a good character and was disliked by the people of her locality but she knew that Jesus is the only one through whom she can get Forgiveness and He is the only one who can grant her salvation.
One day when she heard that Jesus is coming to the Pharisee's house to eat she went to that man house carrying her Alabaster box of ointment. She sat near the feet of Jesus and started washing them with her tears and wiping them off with her hair. She was full of love for Jesus she kissed His feet and poured the best ointment she had.And kept on loving Jesus and her happiness to be at His feet......and the story continues.

the main things which i understand in this are:-

* The woman was determined to seek forgiveness from Jesus and show her love for Him.
we should also be like that Jesus showed His love to us and always keep on showing, we should also show our love to Jesus and keep on telling Him that we need Him in true.

* She took her ALABASTER BOX with her.
In early times Alabaster Box was considered to be the box in which people kept all their precious belongings and that lady came to Jesus with it. which means She gave to Jesus everything she had. We should also try to do the same, we should go to Jesus with each and everything we have no matter its a request,pain,prayer etc because He knows what we want and need but He rejoices when we keep our heart open in front of Him.

* She was aware of the fact that She is a SINNER, still She came into the feet of Jesus and repented.
Most of the times we think that we are sinners or we are not worth to be in the presence of Jesus and talk to Him, but that's not true Jesus wants Us to talk to Him in any form and in any condition. He showed His love to us when we were sinners "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. " Romans 5:8
We should come before Him the way we are and not fake our self.

The ALABASTER BOX contains great importance in our lives. We should pay heed to what we take in our boxes when we go in His presence. think about it tonight.!

My heart Cried.

Today i went to a girl called Neha in phool bagh colony with my friend Cathy. Neha is a new believer and now she wants to spread the Word. We went to tell her how she herself can teach and share different stories and her testimonies. She was very anxious to hear each and every word we spoke. The conversation carried on and we shared about the demon possessed man to her. after we had done she told a testimony how Jesus used her for His work. Few months back when she was hospitalized for her delivery she had a chat with a lady who was supposed to be the delivered the same day.when the gynecologist doctor came she told to the other lady that her baby had died 3 days back inside her womb and they will be operating her stomach to take the baby out.Neha was listening to all what was happening and She suddenly walked to that lady and said don't worry my sister Jesus will heal you and everything will be fine.That lady asked Neha who is Jesus i have never heard about Him before Neha said don't worry just believe in what i am saying and she kept her hand on her womb and starting praying. That lady first got afraid and shook her away but when Neha told her she is just praying for her she listened to her calmly.to their surprise That woman started labor pains between the prayer and gave birth to a baby boy. though after looking at that boy they were not sure of his survival but then things went fine and they saved the baby boy. Neha gave birth to a baby girl.The doctors were amazed and even that lady then Neha shared about Jesus more to her and now she will be visiting her personally to tel her more about Jesus and His miraculous deeds.

When I walk alone these empty streets,

I feel your hand gripped in my hand,

When I sit alone on the bench,

I feel you sitting beside me surrounding me with your arms.

When I wander on the moon lit beach,

I can see your foot prints just beside walking,

One Rainy Day.!!!

One day I was sitting near a window,

When a dropp touched my skin,

It was about to rain heavily that day,

And joyfully shouted my kin.

I went out to sense God's blessings,

As I love to get wet and play,

For few minutes of my life,

I forgot my pain and relished in gay.

All was admirable and beautiful,

the sky, the grass and even the hill,

Everybody was singing with the music of rain,

As if the busy life of working people have become still.

All forgot the tensions and grudges within,

The travelers passing by stopped to rest in inn,

The trees were blissful and cherished,

But it was all momentary and soon it was all finished.

Each night i go to bed,

and wonder all the reasons,

Why did you say me a long GOOD BYE..

Every moment I am lost,

and each thought makes me cry,

Can we start it all over again and give it a try.

I loved you so immensely,

A Conversation

It was astounding sitting under the stars,

the words were set free out of all bars,

emotions and feelings were ready to pour,

as if someone has opened long awaited doors.

There was so much to share and speak,

which was full of depth though sounding weak,

asking each other to share the pain,

without any hidden profits or monitory gains.

The heart was pondering on all we felt,

as if trying to hold an ice cube which is ready to melt,

relationships and love was the subject of the talk,

as we carried on the things and had a walk.

The complications of life and web of relations,

was very confusing even more than the polity of nations,

but after we got over after all that we shared,

I can feel the peace in m,a heart and it was the best conversation I ever had.

a journey through the REALITIES of Life.!!!

As i started undrstanding the facts of life,
everythng started becoming so clear,
all things were so gaudy and sparkling,
as if you are holding a pearl without any fear.

but it was just a matter of short span,
all things worsened with the change in time,
now the things were more shabby and torn,
like a dark old iron covered with layer of rust without any shine.

the scars which the life made on our face,
was bleeding and the pain was over par,
the feeling we were going through,
was like somebody pouring on our skin the hot boiling tar.

all this what i felt has now made me understand,
all things we find beautiful are
black behind the end,
we should try to face each thing more practicaly,
as if a young lad fighting bravely in the spanish bull's ally.

A view from a Window.!

one day sitting near a window,
i looked across the window pane,
and as my eyes went to the level of height,
i saw a long narrow empty lane.

i saw the chain of mountains,
facing me as i stared, and the rays of the sun were falling on them,
and made them shine and glared.

the green trees on the slopes,
made me spellbound,
and the view was so astounding,
it mesmerised me with the chirping birds sound.

i got lost in the beauty of nature,
and desired its eternal stay,
the soothing breez tookme to paradise,
as soon as i lay.

Summer Ministry Project Day 1

On 29th May 2010. we started my journey at 6.45 am to my Training Center where i was about to meet the group from Oklahoma.Our organizer Scott came to pick me from my house, I was so excited about meeting them and work as we proceed with our schedules.The first lady i met there was Joann, she was a gem of a person...full of positivity and open heart. Then I came to know that i have to go out in a group of 3. my team mates were Tia and Katie P.these two girls were of the same age as me and full of life.with the mantra "LIVE EVERY MOMENT WITH JOY" they always kept on talking laughing, enjoying the time and working for God. We were asked to go to the village Salembad- Muradnagar Delhi Rd. which was around a 40kms from the city.I Katie and Tia with the other Team Shefali, Heather and Stacy took the bus and reached Muradnagar. It was a quite different experience for me driving with American girls in a Public Bus where was no space to sit. It was so crowded and people were hanging on each other. Jesus helped me nicely. Then after reaching muradnagar we came to know that the village we were assigned to is around 8 kms in so we waited started walking as we were not having any convince we walked around half the way then by the grace of God we got one Bullock cart the cart man was so generous that didn't charged any things and dropped us to our destination. It was a good day and a good start even the weather was also pleasant. In India you dun hear that word for weather especially in the month of May. then we walked through the fields. on our way we stooped at the tube well and had water..the water was awesome and fresh and cold. :-) after reaching the village we went to a house. The name of the Head of the house was Shyam Sunder Tyagi he was a Hindu man and was very good at heart he allowed us to sit in his house and showed us the way to the rooms where all womens were sitting. there we met his whole BIG family. his three sons, two daughter-in-laws and around 6 grand children. Her wife Pushpa was a nice lady and all the women gathered around us to hear what were saying. after having Coke and Biscuits they brought for us we asked them if we could share something with them related to Jesus and they said YES...then Tia my friend she shared her testimony and Katie told then the story of the Paralytic man and they were so happy to hear that. They even told us that they heard the name of Jesus before and asked us if we could provide them with some of the Hindi scriptures. It was so good we all felt as if we were planing the seed of the Word of God. then we came back to meerut. Jesus is really Great he helps us in every way :-)
